ACTOR ELIZABETH MCDOWELL CAST IN SERIES STARRING ROSALIE CHIANG AND NINA LU

With the background of growing up with theater director and actor parents, Elizabeth McDowell began acting in local theater productions at an early age. After moving to Italy, she began directing and acting in short films which were shown at various film festivals including the Corto Festival in Rome, and winning a short film competition in Bologna. She was then cast in the film "Music Production Unit" which was shown at the Milano Film Festival and London International Doc Fest. After being cast in several projects this year, McDowell was cast a principal role in a series with several prominent AAPI actors including Rosalie Chang and Nina Lu.

The full-length LP "The Sim Is Real," produced by R. Walt Vincent, is now available on all streaming platforms on Pitch and Prose record label and available for purchase at the web store. The album is already getting attention and praise from PopSugar, Still Listening Magazine, Last Day Deaf, Hot Lunch Music, and Alchemical Records, and international airplay on Phoenix FM in the UK and Indie YFM.
LIVE AT PACHYDERM
Beth Ann and her full band went live at Pachyderm Studios on 4/10 to showcase two of her singles which will be featured in an official video along with the album release of "The Sim Is Real" on April 29. The livestream was in collaboration with Indie Radio YFM, and featured Corinne Caouette, Liz Collin, Yue Wu, Mia Pariseau, and Jackson Price. Shawna Lee, a video synth visual artist, provided her stunning projections during the set. Freya Johnson-Foster, videographer, captured the magic of the session and will have her work featured in the music video. You can catch a sneak peek of the special and momentous day above.
"ALIS" SINGLE OUT NOW
"Alis", the third single off of "The Sim Is Real", is now streaming. The nostalgic-pop song has features lined up with Last Day Deaf, Alchemical Records, and Music For The Misfits. Reminiscent of a 90’s-era alternative pop ballad, the song has been played on Radio Love Live and YFM Radio repeatedly, and featured in the podcast Afternoon Tunes by Radio Fujiko in Italy.
